Walter T. Wolf
Mr. Wolf has over 45 years of legal experience in South Jersey. He concentrates in construction, surety, engineering, architecture, commercial, business, real estate and professional malpractice cases.
Mr. Wolf resides in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. In 1958 he graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.S. degree in Engineering and a Bachelor of Laws. Mr. Wolf was a senior partner at FARR, WOLF & LYONS in Bellmawr, New Jersey, for twenty-five years before starting his own firm, Wolf Professional Association, in 1989, now Walter T. Wolf, LLC.
Mr. Wolf was admitted to practice in New Jersey in 1959 and in the District of Columbia in 1960. Several of his articles have been published in condominium and construction publications and he has written a chapter in Wiley Publications’ Trial Strategies and Techniques In Construction Litigation. Mr. Wolf’s memberships in professional associations include the New Jersey, Camden County and American Bar Associations, the Construction Forum and Litigation Section of the American Bar Association and Mr. Wolf has been an active member in the Community Associations Institute, Fidelity and Surety and Public Contract and Construction Committees of the New Jersey State Bar Association. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Certified Trial Attorney Section of the New Jersey State Bar.

Attorney with over 45 years’ experience with Southern New Jersey law firms specializing
in financial, commercial, business, real estate, surety, and construction litigation. Extensive
experience in analyzing, planning and litigating complex factual and legal issues, advising
clients in these matters, developing strategies to resolve disputes, devising support systems
for this litigation, and managing and supervising attorneys, paralegals, law clerks and staff.
Areas of Experience:
- Presented and defended significant architectural/engineering malpractice cases involving both personal injury and economic losses.
- Lead counsel in litigation of defective construction claims against builders/developers.
- Lead counsel in lender liability cases.
- Significant participation in litigation aspects of financial workouts for banks.
- Experienced in commercial contract litigation including trials involving commercial impracticability issues in the context of long term supply contracts and analysis of technical data.
- Lead counsel in accounting malpractice and legal malpractice cases.
- Lead counsel in prosecution of civil embezzlement cases.
- Defense of health care professionals in wrongful termination cases.
- Successfully represented several attorneys in ethics proceedings at the district, central ethics and Supreme Court levels.
- Successfully represented professionals before the Engineering, Plumbing, Architectural, Medical, Chiropractic, and Dental Boards.
- Successfully represented Bonding company insured workouts.
Litigation Cases:
- Counsel defending title company against claims made by Republic of Philippines to real estate titled in Marcos family names, but allegedly purchased with government funds.
- Lead counsel representing developer in Bankruptcy Court in successful arrangement under Chapter XI involving largest single land assemblage in New Jersey (C.F. Seabrook Estate).
- Successfully defended corporate contractor in criminal bribery indictment related to alleged payments to state highway inspectors who had pleaded guilty.
- Lead counsel in prosecuting successful civil claim for damages against developer in the defective construction of warehouses.
- Lead counsel in successful claim for property damage to large commercial farms suffering water damage over a period of years (Russo Farms v. Vineland Board of Education).
- Lead counsel in successful claim for homeowners arising from the flood of August, 1998 in Atlantic County in recovering full economic losses (Poblete v. Smithville).
